Configuration
Garcia comes in a few starting configurations. Each configuration is complete and suited to specific types of robot work. Here are more details on the base configurations.

Serial Port Interface
This required option allows you to connect directly to your robot from your desktop or laptop.

Chassis Finish
The aluminum chassis and wheel plates have several finish options. Pick a color you like or one that works best for your research or work. Bright colors are easier to see on the floor and with vision systems.

Insert Panel Color
Garcia has 3 insert panels to allow easy modifications. These panels come in various colors to best match your preference of chassis color.

Camera Boom
This low-mass camera boom bolts directly into the Garcia Lid. It extends a pan/tilt camera mount roughly 16 inches from the ground Garcia sits on.

Battery Charger
Garcia comes standard with a battery charger. If you are ordering a fleet of Garcia robots, you may not need a charger for every robot.

Extra Battery
Garcia robots typically run over 4 hours on a single charge. Getting a second battery allows you to charge one battery while the other is in use.

Text-to-Speech Option
This is the SP03 Speech module and hardware allowing you to speak arbitrary text (up to 81 characters at a time) through the Garcia API. It offers great auditory feedback and interaction when you don't have a command line to watch.
